CASA
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) are volunteers appointed to advocate for the best interests, safety, and well-being of children who are removed from their homes due to abuse and/or neglect. CASA volunteers are advocates who offer judges the critical information they need to ensure that each child’s rights and needs are being attended to while in foster care.
CASA volunteers provide a constant, well-informed voice who commit to watching over a child until that child is safe with a forever family and no longer in foster care.

Solace Crisis Treatment Center
Solace Crisis Treatment Center is seeking new board members and volunteers who want to make an impact in the lives of New Mexico families and in their communities. Solace Crisis Treatment Center volunteers provide a variety of resources to victims of crime, hospitals, public schools, law enforcement, to name a few.

The Children’s Trust Fund
The Children’s Trust Fund is looking for new board members who are committed to making New Mexico the best place to be a child.
The Children’s Trust Fund was created by state statute in 1978—their mission is to provide funding and support for the development of innovative community-based programs that strengthen social and emotional bonds between parents and their children. At the heart of each project funded by the Children’s Trust Fund Board is the importance of preventing child abuse and neglect among all children of New Mexico.
Appointments to the Board are made by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and all applications should be submitted to the Office of the Governor’s website here.
